Less than 1hr drive from the station and campground, Warla Gorge is an easy 1/2 day trip with no four wheel driving required. Swimming, fishing, bird watching, bush walking and exploring this part of the Hann River will easily fill in half a day.
A 3.5km track (one way) with 2 creek crossings, plenty of wildlife and small swimming holes will be sure to impress. Allow 4-5hrs to complete the circuit and be sure to take plenty of water and a camera to capture the serenity.
Our star attraction for keen 4x4 enthusiasts, or those looking for a challenge with big rewards! Approximately 1.5hr drive from the station, then a 1.5km walk will see you arrive at the lookout point next to the falls. There are 2 near vertical ladders to climb down to get to the gorge so take plenty of water and snacks to keep your energy levels up. If you can't climb ladders the view from the top is still worth the drive. With at least two known aboriginal rock art sites, you've got yourself an action packed day full of inspiring Kimberley rewards.
